Terms and Conditions of Sale and Use

•user accounts;

•promotional offers and discount codes; and

•use of the Website generally.

Certain products or services may be subject to additional terms presented on the applicable product or registration page. If additional terms conflict with these Terms, the product-specific terms will control with respect to that product or service.

You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating an account or placing an order.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activities conducted through your account.

You agree to notify Edra Media LLC promptly if you become aware of unauthorized access to or use of your account.

Edra Media LLC reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain inaccurate information, are used fraudulently, violate these Terms, or otherwise create a security, legal, or operational risk.

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, images, availability, publication information, prices, and other information displayed on the Website are accurate.

However, minor differences may occur between Website images or descriptions and the final product, including differences relating to cover design, color, packaging, dimensions, edition details, or other non-material characteristics.

Errors may occasionally occur. Edra Media LLC reserves the right to correct typographical, pricing, product-description, technical, or availability errors at any time.

Unless otherwise indicated, prices displayed on the Website are expressed in U.S. dollars (USD).

Prices may change without notice. A price change will not affect an order already accepted by Edra Media LLC, except where an obvious pricing or technical error has occurred.

Applicable sales tax or other taxes will be calculated and added when required by law.

For international orders, customers may also be responsible for customs duties, import taxes, brokerage charges, VAT, or other charges imposed by the destination country. Receipt of an automated order confirmation does not necessarily constitute final acceptance of the order.

Edra Media LLC reserves the right to accept, decline, cancel, or limit an order for legitimate reasons, including:

If we cancel an order after payment has been collected, the amount paid for the cancelled item or order will be refunded to the original payment method.

Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available at checkout.

By submitting payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the selected payment method and authorize Edra Media LLC and its payment-service providers to process the applicable transaction.

Payment information may be processed by third-party payment providers in accordance with their own terms and privacy policies.

Edra Media LLC does not guarantee that every payment method will be available for every transaction, customer, or territory.

Physical products are generally dispatched within 2–4 business days after receipt and confirmation of payment, unless a different estimated shipping or availability period is stated on the product page or during checkout.

This timeframe is an estimate and is not a guaranteed delivery date.

Shipping times may vary depending on:

•destination;

•carrier;

•product availability;

•weekends and holidays;

•weather;

•customs processing;

•carrier disruptions; and

•circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Where tracking is available, tracking information will normally be provided after shipment.

If we become unable to ship an order within the timeframe originally stated or otherwise required by applicable law, we may contact you regarding the delay and any available options, including cancellation and refund where applicable.

Products identified as preorders, forthcoming titles, temporarily unavailable items, or backorders may have longer fulfillment periods.

Publication dates, release dates, and expected availability dates are estimates and may change.

When a material delay occurs, Edra Media LLC may provide an updated estimated availability date or offer cancellation where required by applicable law.

Shipping and handling charges are shown during checkout before the order is submitted.

Charges may vary based on destination, shipment weight, shipping method, order value, or other logistics factors.

Orders submitted separately may be shipped separately and may each incur shipping charges.

Unless required by law or caused by an error by Edra Media LLC, original shipping charges are generally non-refundable.

Availability of international shipping may vary by destination.

Customers placing international orders are responsible for ensuring that ordered products may lawfully be imported into the destination country.

The recipient is responsible for applicable customs procedures and any duties, import taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, or other government or carrier charges unless explicitly stated otherwise during checkout.

Customs processing may delay delivery and is outside the direct control of Edra Media LLC.

Unless a different policy is clearly stated on the relevant product page, physical books purchased directly from EdraPublishing.com may be returned within 30 days after delivery, subject to the conditions below.

Returned products must:

•have been purchased directly from EdraPublishing.com;

•be unused;

•be unmarked;

•be undamaged;

•include any accompanying materials; and

•be in new and resalable condition.

Proof of purchase may be required.

Before returning a product, please contact info@edrapublishing.com with your order number and the reason for the return. Return instructions will be provided when applicable. Products should not be returned without first contacting Edra Media LLC.

Unless the return results from an Edra Media LLC error, defective product, or shipping damage, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Original shipping and handling charges are not refundable except where required by law or where the return results from our error.

Refunds will normally be issued to the original payment method after the returned merchandise has been received and inspected. Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable rights available to consumers under applicable law.

Customers should inspect physical orders promptly after delivery.

If an item arrives damaged, contains a material manufacturing defect, or is different from the item ordered, please contact info@edrapublishing.com as soon as reasonably possible and preferably within 7 days of delivery.

Please provide:

•your order number;

•a description of the issue; and

•photographs of the product and shipping package when relevant.

After reviewing the claim, Edra Media LLC may, as appropriate, provide a replacement, refund, credit, or other reasonable remedy.

If tracking indicates delivery but the package has not been received, please contact us promptly so that we can investigate the shipment with the applicable carrier.

Purchasing an ebook or other digital product does not transfer ownership of the intellectual property contained in that product.

Unless otherwise expressly stated, the purchaser receives a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use the digital product for lawful personal or professional purposes.

Digital products may not be:

•copied except as technically necessary for permitted use;

•reproduced for distribution;

•uploaded to file-sharing services;

•shared publicly or privately with unauthorized users;

•resold;

•sublicensed;

•rented;

•redistributed;

•systematically extracted;

•used to create unauthorized derivative products; or

•made available through institutional networks unless an applicable license specifically permits such use.

Access restrictions, technological protection measures, user limits, download limits, or platform-specific requirements may apply.

Because ebooks, downloads, recordings, and similar digital content can be immediately accessed or copied, sales of digital products are generally final once the digital product has been downloaded, accessed, activated, or otherwise made available to the purchaser.

A refund may nevertheless be provided where:

•required by applicable law;

•the customer was charged incorrectly;

•the digital product is materially defective;

•the customer cannot access the purchased product due to a technical problem attributable to Edra Media LLC that cannot reasonably be corrected; or

•Edra Media LLC determines that a refund is otherwise appropriate.

If you experience a technical problem, please contact info@edrapublishing.com before initiating a payment dispute so that we can attempt to resolve the issue.

Registration terms for webinars, courses, conferences, or other educational programs may vary and may be stated on the applicable registration page.

Edra Media LLC may modify the speaker, schedule, format, platform, or program content when reasonably necessary.

If Edra Media LLC cancels a paid event without providing a reasonable replacement or alternative access, affected registrants will generally be eligible for a refund of the registration fee paid directly to Edra Media LLC.

Temporary technical issues, individual internet connectivity problems, device incompatibility, or a registrant's inability to attend a live session do not automatically create a right to a refund when recorded or equivalent access is made available.

Edra Media LLC publishes educational and scientific materials concerning dentistry, veterinary medicine, human medicine, healthcare, and related professional fields.

These materials are provided for educational and informational purposes only. They are not intended to constitute individualized medical, dental, veterinary, legal, regulatory, or other professional advice and should not be used as a substitute for the independent professional judgment of an appropriately qualified practitioner.

Healthcare knowledge, clinical standards, drug information, recommendations, regulations, technologies, and accepted practices may change after publication. We seek to keep the Website available and functioning properly but do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation.

The Website may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, software updates, hosting issues, security incidents, telecommunications failures, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Edra Media LLC may modify, suspend, or discontinue Website functionality when reasonably necessary.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, EDRA MEDIA LLC AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, LICENSORS, AUTHORS, CONTRIBUTORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE WEBSITE, PRODUCTS, DIGITAL CONTENT, OR SERVICES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, EDRA MEDIA LLC'S AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING FROM A PARTICULAR PURCHASE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID TO EDRA MEDIA LLC FOR THE PRODUCT OR SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

These limitations do not apply where liability cannot legally be limited or excluded.

Edra Media LLC will not be responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances reasonably beyond its control, including natural disasters, severe weather, war, terrorism, civil disturbance, epidemic or pandemic events, government action, labor disruptions, transportation interruptions, carrier failures, customs delays, power outages, telecommunications failures, cyber incidents, or supply-chain disruptions.

This provision does not eliminate any refund or cancellation rights that cannot legally be waived.

Edra Media LLC may review orders for fraud prevention and security purposes.

We may request additional information to verify an order or payment. Orders that appear fraudulent, unauthorized, or otherwise suspicious may be delayed or cancelled.

Fraudulent activity may be reported to payment providers, financial institutions, or appropriate authorities where permitted or required by law.

These Terms and transactions made through the Website are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable federal law or mandatory consumer-protection law provides otherwise.

Subject to any rights that cannot legally be waived, disputes relating to these Terms or purchases from Edra Media LLC shall be brought in the appropriate state or federal courts having jurisdiction in Palm Beach County, Florida.

Nothing in this section deprives a consumer of protections or remedies that cannot be waived under the law applicable to that consumer.

Edra Media LLC may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in its products, services, Website functionality, business practices, or applicable law.

The date of the most recent revision will appear at the top of this page. Changes will apply prospectively unless otherwise required by law.

The Terms applicable to a purchase are generally those in effect at the time the applicable order is placed.

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

Failure by Edra Media LLC to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other right.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any product-specific terms presented during purchase or registration, constitute the agreement between you and Edra Media LLC concerning your use of the Website and purchases made through it.
