Prof. Dr. med. vet. Simone Schuller is a distinguished veterinarian and academic currently serving as a professor at the Vetsuisse Faculty of the University of Bern, Switzerland. She also holds the position of medical director at the university's small animal clinic. A diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ECVIM-CA), Dr. Schuller has dedicated her career to advancing the understanding of infectious diseases in companion animals, with a particular focus on leptospirosis, antimicrobial stewardship, and the role of pets in One Health and zoonotic disease epidemiology. Her research has been instrumental in analyzing infection pathways and the spread of multidrug-resistant bacteria in small animal medicine.
