Patrick Jacques Bourdeau is a distinguished veterinarian and academic who served as a Full Professor and Head of the Unit of Clinical Parasitology, Dermatology, and Mycology at the National Veterinary School (Oniris) in Nantes, France. He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Veterinary School of Maisons-Alfort in 1978 and later obtained a PhD in Zoology and Ecotoxicology from Orsay University in 1988.
