Lluís Ferrer Caubet is a distinguished veterinarian and academic specializing in veterinary dermatology and pathology. He earned his DVM from the University of Zaragoza in 1981 and completed his PhD at the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover in 1985. Throughout his career, he has held significant academic positions, including serving as a Professor at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) and as a Professor of Dermatology at the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University. His extensive research contributions have focused on canine leishmaniosis, demodicosis, atopic dermatitis, and the application of stem cells in dermatology.
