Professor Louis Hardan is a distinguished academic and clinician specializing in restorative and esthetic dentistry. He currently serves as a Full Professor at the Faculty of Dental Medicine at Saint Joseph University of Beirut, where he has held various leadership roles, including Director of the Master’s program in Restorative and Esthetic Dentistry and member of the Department of Digital Dentistry, AI, and Evolving Technologies. He earned his DDS, specialized certificates, and a PhD in Oral Biology and Dental Materials from Saint Joseph University of Beirut. An internationally recognized lecturer, he has delivered over 80 presentations worldwide and is a prolific researcher in the fields of dental adhesion, biomaterials, and digital dentistry. Beyond his academic contributions, Professor Hardan maintains a private dental practice in Byblos, Lebanon. He is highly active in the global dental community, serving as the Scientific Director of the Styleitaliano group and as the Country Chairperson for Lebanon for the European Society of Cosmetic Dentistry (ESCD). His extensive career includes significant service to the Lebanese Dental Association, where he previously served as General Secretary. He is widely cited for his work on adhesive systems, resin composites, and clinical photography in dentistry.
