Dr. John Schumacher is a distinguished veterinarian and Professor Emeritus in the Department of Clinical Sciences at the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Kansas State University in 1973 and later completed a residency and Master of Science degree at Texas A&M University. Throughout his career, he has been board-certified as a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM) and the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (DABVP).
