Javier Collados Soto is a Doctor in Veterinary Medicine and a distinguished specialist in veterinary dentistry and oral surgery. He holds the status of Diplomate of both the American Veterinary Dental College (AVDC) and the European Veterinary Dental College (EVDC), and is an EBVS European Veterinary Specialist in Dentistry. In 2013, he became the first professional in Spain to be accredited by AVEPA in the specialty of Dentistry and Oral Surgery. Throughout his career, he has treated over 20,000 clinical cases and has completed extensive training at renowned international institutions, including the University of California, Davis, and the Center for Animal Referral and Emergency Services (CARES) in Philadelphia. Currently, Dr. Collados serves as the Head of the Dentistry and Oral Surgery Service at the Veterios Veterinary Reference Hospital and the Hospital Clínico Veterinario of the Universidad Europea de Madrid. He is a prolific author and educator, having published several visual atlases on oral and dental pathologies in small animals and having served as a professor and coordinator for animal dentistry courses. He is a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (MRCVS) and continues to contribute to the field through national and international lectures and clinical research.
