About
Dr. Carla Dedola is a distinguished veterinary dermatologist and a European Diplomate in Veterinary Dermatology. She earned her degree in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Sassari, Italy, in 2001. Following her graduation, she gained foundational experience as a general practitioner in Monza, Italy, where she began to focus her professional interest on small animal dermatology. In 2007, she advanced her expertise by undertaking a residency in dermatology at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, successfully achieving her board certification in 2010. Throughout her career, Dr. Dedola has been deeply involved in the veterinary community, serving as the secretary of the Italian Society of Small Animal Dermatology (SIDEV) from 2014 to 2019. Since 2011, she has operated as a freelance specialist in Sardinia, Italy, providing expert dermatological services across various veterinary clinics. Additionally, she serves as a director and scientific mentor for dermatological courses organized by the Italian Companion Animal Veterinary Association (SCIVAC) and is a co-author of the professional resource 'Complex Clinical Cases in Small Animal Dermatology'.
