Dr. Alberto Martin Cordero is a distinguished veterinary dermatologist based in Guadalajara, Mexico. He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Guadalajara and completed postgraduate studies in veterinary dermatology at the European School for Advanced Veterinary Studies at the University of Luxembourg. He is the founder and director of VETDERM: Dermatología Veterinaria Especializada, recognized as the first veterinary dermatology referral practice in western Mexico. In addition to his clinical work, he serves as an assistant professor in the Department of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Guadalajara. Dr. Martin Cordero is a prominent figure in the field, having completed specialized training and internships at institutions including Colorado State University, Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich, and various clinics in Southern California. He is a founding member of the Latin American Society of Veterinary Dermatology and a member of the American Academy of Veterinary Dermatology. He has served as the President of the Latin American College of Veterinary Dermatology (LACVD) and is a frequent speaker at international veterinary congresses, including the WSAVA World Congress.
